Check out these pictures from Jason Moyce of a mako shark that was commercially caught and had the bill from a marlin impaled all the way through it. I wonder if the marlin faired as well? I have caught billfish with little or no bill, but normally it looks like a deformity and not a duel with a shark.
The marlin’s bill passes through the entire mako.
