The annual San Diego Sunroad Boat Show is back, bigger than ever and hosted in the newly renovated Sunroad Resort Marina on Harbor Island. This January 23-26, 2014, the show will offer something for all ages.
Boats will be everywhere, both on land and water, and this year’s show will be 20% larger with the introduction of several new boat lines.
It might be winter now but it is always summer on the Bay!
The San Diego Sunroad Boat Show will be expanding this year with an in-water display of more than 125 new and pre-cruised sailboats and motor yachts, starting at 25-feet up to 90-feet. There is a boat for every budget at the show. Attendees will also be able to enjoy free boat rides – free sailing lessons by Seaforth Boat Rentals and free rides on an 18-foot electric boat.
In addition to the tremendous amount of boats, there will also be a plethora of marine vendors and electronics with the latest nautical products and services, live music, as well as food and beverages for attendees to enjoy a day on San Diego Bay.
Families of all ages are welcome on the bay with new kid pool activities including toy boats, balloons, face painting and much more! A variety of seminars will also take place throughout the weekend.
Earlier this year, the Sunroad Resort Marina underwent a $500,000 renovation, elevating the marina and boating experience. Attendees coming to the 2014 show will be able to, in addition to the boat show, explore and enjoy the enhanced marina.
