Top saltwater fishermen are always looking for an edge in their tackle strategy that will pay off in more bites. Now two new Camo colors in the recently introduced Sufix 832 Advanced Superline series of braids are a great solution to the casting puzzle.
Braided fishing lines have long been an integral part of both inshore and offshore fishing and more and more hardcore anglers are moving to Sufix 832 Advanced Superline.
“Sufix 832 has been proven on the water,” says Matt Jensen of Rapala Brands. “We’ve had 20-25% sales growth over the past three years, so we didn’t need to come up with a brand new braid.”
Sufix 832 just got more attractive to both fish and fishermen, notes Jensen. “We decided to focus on new colors and introduced two shades of Camo in our Sufix 832 Advanced Superline.”
The new Sufix 832 Coastal Camo with varying shades of light to darker blues is perfect for clear blue waters that host predators from bluefin tuna to marlin.
For a subtle approach to fish in more stained water or those found over, around and in saltwater/brackish vegetation, Sufix 832 Camo is a braid with gradations of green, yellow and brown.

Where both Camo and Coastal Camo truly come into play is any presentation that features a full spool of Sufix 832 and a short leader of Sufix fluorocarbon. Tying straight to the lure or hook is also an option, given the exceptional knot strength of Sufix 832 thanks in part to the addition of the GORE fiber.
Sufix 832 casts great. Feel, roundness, strength, diameter, abrasion resistance and castability are all at the top of the list of requirements for excellence on the water, and the 832 in the Sufix in the Sufix 832 Advanced Superline name explains why this braid tops all other brands in those categories.
Simply put, this Sufix Superline features 8 spools weaving 7 HMPE fibers and one GORE fiber into a smooth, round, small braid in a tight 32 pics (weaves) per inch. The GORE fiber enhances both roundness and abrasion resistance, and, best of all, dampens the looping propensities of braids and results in a great casting line.
Sufix 832 Advanced Superline comes in sizes from 6- to 80# test and in spools sizes from 150-yards to 3500-yards.
