Shimano SLX DC – Ready To Fish

Jul 10, 2019 by BD Staff

Shimano SLX DC Reel

Shimano’s revolutionary Digital Control (DC) Braking System is now within reach of all anglers and all budgets with the new Shimano SLX DC 150 series!

Shimano SLX DC

Built on the proven, sturdy, HAGANE Body, SLX platform, with the same I-DC4 digital brake control system used on Shimano’s popular Curado DC reels, the SLX DC reels are offered in three gear ratios and in both right-hand retrieve and left-hand retrieve.

Shimano SLX DCUtilizing a microcomputer to automatically control brake force at every moment of the cast, the new Curado DC technology is known for durability, dependability, and versatility, and will quickly allow all anglers – from the most avid tournament angler to those intimidated by baitcasting reels and the backlashes that can happen – to cast smarter by allowing the DC’s microcomputer to monitor spool speed 1,000 times every second and apply the perfect amount of brake to minimize backlashes and maximize distance.  MSRP: $189.99 #FishShimano

Visit the Shimano website for more information on their state of the art reels.
