Shimano Curado K
Today at the Bassmaster Classic Outdoor Expo in Birmingham, Alabama, Shimano will showcase the latest and most high-tech generation of the Curado, a long-time standard in low-profile baitcast reels. Since 1991, the Curado has set the bar as standard equipment for professional bass fishermen and family outings.
Known for its durability during daily use, the Curado line has always been a favorite of many. The evolution of the Curado has been continual, previous models taking on the newest technological advances of the time.
Todays Curado is no different and will feature three new advances in Shimano’s continual quest to better their product.
The new Curado will come in five different models of varying gear ratios and two left handed models. Robby Gant with Shimano’s product development staff, said, “anglers benefit from our latest baitcasting reel technology including SVS Infinity Braking System, S3D Stabile Spool Design and X-Ship.”Each feature makes the reel smoother, tougher and easy to adjust with changing conditions or lure swapping.
“The Curado standard continues with these new reels,” Gant said. “We realize anglers have special expectations with our Curado reels, and we fulfill our ‘Get More’ goal with these new reels and the new Shimano technology now featured in them. From the first series going back to 1991, our goal is to always to exceed the expectations anglers have in us and their Curado reels.”
