A Note From Chris
This event Operation Soldiers Gratitude is founded on the principle of paying it forward to two incredible organizations that have done so much for myself and others severely injured during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom campaigns.
Homes for Our Troops builds accessible specially adapted homes across the United States. Currently the land for my home is under contract with HFOT and the due diligence process necessary prior to building is underway. I am looking forward to the next chapter in my recovery in a home that I will call my own. This organization is a topnotch 4-star rated charity that has completed over 200 homes to date.
Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation has been and still is instrumental in providing financial assistance so that I am able to rent a suitable home near the college that I am attending. Their assistance has allowed me to focus on my recovery and my education. SOF has been key to my optimistic attitude for the future.
Please join me in helping to raise awareness for these organizations.
