The jump happened on October 2012, when Felix Baumgartner stepped from the capsule of a stratospheric balloon floating 24 miles above the earth. During his subsequent free fall, he set record speeds of 833.9 mph and broke the barrier of sound at Mach 1.24. Previously, there has been visuals from the crazy, record setting fall, but now the HD video from the seven GoPro cameras he wore has been released.
I can’t in my wildest dreams, think about doing this or even begin to fathom what it would take to do it.
I know it’s not fishing, but it is worth watching, just to try and imagine what he experienced.
