Make Wish Tuna Challenge Seminar
This annual event is a great opportunity for tournament anglers and the public alike to learn about the latest techniques, equipment, and secrets for catching tuna in our local San Diego waters.
It is free of charge and all interested anglers are invited to attend. There will be a free casual dinner available (although we ask for a small donation for Make-A-Wish in exchange). Beer and wine will also be available. Everyone in attendance will also receive a free raffle ticket for great fishing-related door prizes!
This will be your last chance to register in the tournament at our “early bird” price.
Skippers looking for extra crewmembers or anglers wishing to “hook-up” with a boat in order to participate in the tournament will find this the event to attend! But you don’t have to be registered for the tournament to attend.
Our expert panel includes Captain Todd Mansur of The Boardroom, Captain Dave Hansen, and representatives from Fishdope.com.
It is a win-win situation when you can have a great time fishing with friends and family while making a child’s dreams come to life. Especially when that life hangs in the balance.
The 2013 Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge began in 1990 and raised $800.
To date, with the help of volunteers, organizers and you, the Tuna Challenge has raised 2,690,000 dollars. That has sponsored a bunch of wishes for children with life threatening medical conditions. The money raised stays in the San Diego area and the local chapter has granted more than 3,000 wishes.
So come out to the seminar tomorrow night and sign up for great fun, great fishing and an even better cause!
