The crew of the Local Knowledge fishing show is preparing for their third season of the show and they are excited to welcome Seakeeper to the team.
“Anyone, including myself, who sees first hand what a Seakeeper unit can do to eliminate the rolling motion from a boat is blown away”, says Ali Hussainy of LK and BD Outdoors. “It is an amazing capability that started out for big yachts, but has now been scaled down in size and affordability for boats as small as 27-feet. It’s a true game changer.”
Seakeeper, Inc. Website, the leader in marine stabilization, announced the launch of the Seakeeper 2 at the Miami International Boat Show. The newest and smallest yet is designed to eliminate up to 95 percent of boat roll on 27- to 32-foot vessels. The Seakeeper 2 is 25 percent lighter (414 lbs.) and 22 percent smaller (24.8” L x 25.5” W x 20” H) than the next smallest model.
“We have a relentless drive to of bringing stabilization to the masses,” said Seakeeper Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Semprevivo. “The Seakeeper 2 is the first of our products to reach down into the 20-foot boat market, and we will continue to expand into new areas to ultimately change the way the world boats.”
“It is already revolutionizing the boating world and these smaller units will accelerate the trend.” says Rush Maltz, LK host and Florida Keys charter captain. “Imagine curing the curse of seasickness for family, friends or boat owners. Who wouldn’t want that for their boat.”
