Graftech New Improvements

  • New X-Wrap shrink tube
  • SeaGuide rod guides & reel seats

Graftech makes six series of rods; The Wallbangers, The Inshore Series, The Offshore series, The Spinning Rod Series, The Jigstick Series and the new Graftech Railrod series.

Graftech RodsGraftech’s Offshore Series

Graftech’s line of Offshore Series rods are designed to balance well with smaller to medium-sized reels in both single and two-speed models. More glass was added to compensate for the wide use of braided line and the tips were softened to help eliminate hook pulls and make fighting a fish more user-friendly. There are five models offered in the Offshore Series ranging in line ratings from 20# to 80#. [GOF78L (20#-30#), GOF78M (30#-40#), GOF78H (40#-50#), GOF78XH (50#-60#) & GOF78XXH (60#-80#]. Offshore series rods come in 7’8 lengths. The heavier models come with a 15 ½” butt rather than a 14” butt. Retail $169.99 to $179.99

Graftech’s Jig Series

The Jig Series rods have vastly improved this year with the addition of the new, heavy-duty SeaGuide reel seats and guides. Available in 8’ and 9’ lengths, these rods smoked the big bluefin tuna that hung around offshore last season. For the long-range fisherman, Jig Series model GJS80H is a great wahoo rod option. [GJS80M(20#-40#), GJS80H (30#-50#) AND GJS90M (40#-50#)] Retail $169.99 – $179.99

Graftech Inshore Series

Graftech also offers a selection of rods for inshore anglers. The Inshore Series consist of 8-foot sticks that come in three actions (12# to 20#, 20# to 30# and 30# to 40#), designed specifically for plastic and live-bait applications. Anglers also quickly realized that they are ideal for everyday seabass and yellowtail fishing. [ GIS80L(12#-20#), GIS80M (20#-30#) AND GIS80H (30#-40#)] Retail $159.99

Graftech RodsGraftech Wallbanger Series

The Wallbanger Series was created to be a specialized quiver of rods made for breakwater, bay and kayak anglers. All three models are 7-foot, 2-inches, and they are perfect for throwing baits against the rocks or even tossing live bait into the kelp. They are strong enough for seabass and big yellows, but sensitive-enough to work small plastics for calicos. Retail $149.99

Graftech 8-Foot Spinning Rods

Because of the huge demand for spinning rods, Graftech designed a trio of 8-foot models. [GSP 80L (12#-25#), GSP 80M (25#-40#) AND GSP80H (40#-50#)] All of their spinning rods feature a fast taper, 10 guides, and lightweight construction.  They are perfect for inshore and offshore applications.
