As marine electronics evolve, it’s easy to become overwhelmed with all of the features and functions available. We’ve all had to open up the user manual on a few occasions to figure something out, whether we want to admit it or not.
To help its customers get their electronics questions answered in a more timely manner, Furuno has launched its own forum on the company website.
On the homepage of its website (www.FurunoUSA.com), you will find a link to the brand new Furuno Forum. Here you will find product categories to post questions or comments, a place to make new product suggestions, a location to post photos of your boat and even get the latest news on Furuno.
Furuno USA staff moderates the forum, but they have also requested their dealer network to sign on to offer support through this forum. So if you have a question that is technical or sales related, you now have access to perhaps the single largest resource of Furuno Authorized dealers willing to lend a hand. However, what really makes any forum a rich resource is its users. When you sign up, you will join the ranks of hundreds of experienced Furuno users who are willing to chime in and offer you advice, and you can in turn lend your expertise to someone else.
Users will find several threads on the forum, with topics directed at specific Furuno products such as NavNet, Radar, GPS and Chart Polotters, Autopilots, etc.
If you have any issues with your Furuno gear or you’d like to help out some of your fellow boaters out there, stop by the forum.
