Post 'em up Mine: 1. First fish: a catfish on the banks of the Delta with my folks and my brother. Such great memories. They tasted so good. The fish, not my family. (Almost at the same time was striper trolling the Turning Basin and just a bit later, trolling for trophy rainbows on Hogan. These are fond early memories, too. ) 2. Favorite fish to catch: ocean chinook (no disrespect intended to fresh water chinookers or fishers of other species of salmon, for that matter). I know that some species (even some salmon species) have more jump to 'em, but I just love the ocean in general, and the part along the Marin coast, in particular. 3. Favorite fish to eat: ocean chinook (see parentheses above). Again, don't get me wrong: I love almost every type of wild caught fish. Lings, bottom fish, dorado, halibut, tuna-they are all excellent...but I can only pick one, so.. 4. Favorite shellfish to eat: Dungeness crab (although I really enjoy wild shrimp and abalone and clams and mussels and..., well you get the idea ) Over to you.
