Fished the 6 pack Intrigue today with 3 other anglers. We went 40 miles south to and ended up just east of the 425. We had two meter mark stops that started off with a few Skippies then turned to YF. The first stop at 10am had fish in the 8-10 range. Scott called in his second boat the Condor and they got on the school as well. We were low in bait and picked up a few scoops of bait from them. The advantage of having owning two boats. Around noon the second stop was a slightly better grade of YF in the 15lb range. After I had my limits I hooked and handed several fish to other anglers. Small to Med sized 4-6" Sardines worked best. These fish weren't line shy. Save your self some # and leave the flouro at home. We used 20, 30 and 40. I'd get picked up on larger 8" baits but just get raked and dropped. I threw the Colt Sniper and had at least 6 hook ups but all of the fish came off. It was like they just bit the top of the jig and would just let go, weird. I even switched from a 80gm to 42gm same thing. We end up with limits and we left them biting. Weather was nice as well. Melissa cooked up some fresh Ahi tacos for lunch. We did have a couple of jig strikes on the Zucchini feather and Silver Blue Halco that only produced Skippes. If you are looking for a 6 pack boat I would highly recommend the Intrigue a great boat and crew.
