We had the same idea as the DawnPatrol, as we left the area where the fleet was(around 31-54 117-22 or so) early as it was getting nasty and we knew it was going to be a slow bumpy ride home, we trolled up to the upper hidden and then towards the 425. We had noticed that the water color and water temps had stayed pretty constant all the way to the 425, so we asked ourselves, why wouldnt the fish be here also? We had about an hour to kill before heading in, so we trolled into the swell about 1/2 mile, and decided to troll down swell for 15 minutes or so to take a "break"...less than 5 minutes later....left outside...zzzzzzzzzzzz....right outside...zzzzzzzzzzzz...left corner ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....a triple on fat albis...we were in the 15 over 22 area....we also saw 5 or 6 spots of fish on the finder at 100 to 150 feet...
we also had a double on fat albacore near the lower hidden bank earlier in the day...that was it, 5 albacore in the 25 to 30+ range, NO we didnt weigh em and NO pics either...enjoy

    HookEmDan-O out.....

Dan what worked best on the troll? Small Natural Cedar plugs, zucchini? What? Thanks - Mike

    Mike,

The small black/purple chrome jethead was hit on both of our stops and was the 1st to go off each time. The mex flag chrome jethead also was hit on each stop. A zukers with the real feathers mex flag was the other hit. We had a cedar plug out and it was never touched. Hope this helps out...

    Beautiful Dan!
We also had an Albie coming up the line just under the 425...
Our jig fish hit the natural cedar plugs each time... (and they were the short inside ones)

    Alan,

That is exactly where we always run the cedars...short on the corners...they run great in that position and usually get the tunas....weird, eh?
