Yep, they're all over the place. Good thing that the local Home Guard Navy Volunteers sent around 70 boats just west of the 226 to try and stop as many as they could before they made it to the US. Flat-Falls and healthy 4-6 inch sardines were doing the most killing in the 72 degree water. Some were killed on the drop, others after waiting for a while. Lots of surface action, but poppers and feathers/plugs were a waste of valuable killing time. Volunteers were mobbing the embarkation area at 5:00 a.m. for a chance to get in the 45 minute line to get the needed ammunition to stop this horde. Good Luck. Go kill some.
