Late report, but here it is. We left Oceanside 0530 Wednesday, bait was mix dines and mini macks. We are on the way to the 181, found a patty, 69-70 degrees tons of marks about 13 miles out, We had quick double hook up on fly lined macs. John farmed his,...set that drag right .. I boated a yellowtail. ..20 lber. It has been a long drought so I was stoked, I didnt want to leave fish to find fish, so we worked that patty for while, John redeemed himself, brought in a dodo, but I ate shit on the gaff, as seen in the video, my bloody deck, was slippery but boated the dodo, most important part. We heading in early, it was a bit nautical out there, but I will be out there again next week..
