Yamaha Transom Saving Spacer for Towing

    You learn something new every day. Yamaha says you are not supposed to trailer with the motor up and the service lever (kickstand) down. You are supposed to use a spacer that goes over the port trim ram. Yamaha part number MAR-MTSPT-YM-10. It works on my 2013 F115. YMMV. I picked this one up on Amazon for $42.

    I will look to see if they have one for my 60hp, or if that model works.

    Yep. And for the f350, you need two......

    Those in the trade call them whale dicks
