Did the cops even come out or did you have to go to them?

It's getting bad out there. My local Safeway recently changed its policy about chasing shoplifters. The employees are instructed not to pursue them at all. The word is now out among low lifes. I'll bet shoplifting has doubled to tripled there. I even saw two people, guy and girl, very decent looking people taking loaded hand baskets out. I'm afraid it's going to take some serious shift before the pendulum of justice swings back the other way in California.

Sorry bro...I wish you could "finish the job" on those ass-hats. Fuckers..I hate em...

What were the electronics? I say we all comb all the pawn shops, craigslist, and let-go. Find these, and put the screws to these shit-bird, low-lifes...

The politicians tell the cops not to book criminals in. The prosecutors don't prosecute.

Whoever said, "crime doesn't pay" didn't live in these times.

Maybe if the politicians keep doing what they are doing, the outcomes will eventually be different?

Is there anchorage near WP? I like the location for guests to come meet me and the live bait availability. Not sure if being on the dock so I can walk to Alabama BBQ is worth the risk of being tweakered.

No doubt I am done leaving the boat unattended in WP for more than an hour while I eat or stretch my legs.

Sorry to hear you got hit.

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

Sorry to be harsh, but you guys need to secure your shit. This theft epidemic is out of control and our politicians are not going to help us. I know it sucks to have to take everything of value off your boat after every time you use it, but if you live in a crime area, that’s what you have to do. Even if you think you are not in a crime area, trust me, you are.

    Sorry for the theft.

    Damn that sucks Donk.
The sooner Kalifornia politicians ban all guns for the common folk the sooner all crime will end. That’s what Nanc says anyway.

My wife told me that where she is from (third world country) that someone caught stealing from your property could be killed....justifiable homicide - 0% recidivism. In California you would be put in prison for $75,000 per year and get a free year of healthcare when you get out. Such an advanced society we are in.

You can’t shoot assholes to protect your property. I don’t know how the law would look at salt rock loads. I’m guessing not favorably. I could be wrong though.

Here on veterans street in last two weeks. I hate thieves. I’ve thought of many ways to get them but your not even allowed to protect your property anymore. My problem I don’t have power on my lot yet so stuff like ring won’t work I think a game camera will be on soon so I can see when they are coming through.

If the neighbors let you use a 110 outlet and their WiFi, you can run Amazon's Blink security. The base station needs 110 and internet. The cameras, indoor or outdoor, are all wifi and battery powered. They're suppose to run for 2 years on the batteries. I've been using 3 external cameras for 6 months at home and works great.

They happen to be on sale right now for the same price as Black Friday.
