were screwed for tuna, might just have to fish salmon. West port was on fire sun, and mon. Both kings, and silvers.

Am I missing some thing?? Thur. is 1-2' wind with 3' swell at 11 seconds. Last Saturday was forecasted to be the same but at 7 seconds. Fri is a little bigger but at 20 seconds.

Not terrible... but I don't care for 25 kt winds = 3-5 ft NW wind chop on top of a 5 ft SW swell. Yuck!

Sat: NW wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. SW swell 5 ft.

Sun: NW wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 6 ft

    (according to NOAA)

Don't you guys wear crocs so you keep your traction on the deck during rough weather?

(besides Tommy and Todd, of course)

I only get about 10-12 knots is the slop so time is the problem. I do not like 4 hours to get out and then have a hard time spotting fish or birds.
Like they said... take a look on Thursday. I am still planning to go Friday and Saturday

    The forecast is getting worse.....

N wind 10 to 20 kt...becoming NW 15 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 4 ft at 7 seconds.
    Fri Night
NW wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 5 ft at 7 seconds.
    Sat
NW wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 5 ft.
    Sun
NW wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 6 ft

Looks like possible 10' + seas with only a 7 second gap...... Not fun.

I'd probably think differently if I had a 30 or 35 foot boat. A man's got to know his own limitations for safety's sake.

I guess I spoke to soon, yesterday was showing Thur. at 11 seconds and Friday at 20 seconds now they are showing both at 7.

  19. How about keeping it simple, a little common sense is good, but more is better. Respect the water or someday it will make you pay.

What site were you looking at?

Wait I get it… It's not good to have dyslexia and get swell seconds and wind speed mixed up!
