Gotta brag sometime. Got a nice suprise when the rod went bendo and 200 yards peeled off my penn 500. I knew immediately it was no ordinary fish. It felt like a wsb but I was in disbelief. Bat Ray, bsb, no not a shark. 20 min later I saw confirmation. It was huge. Another run or two and I was able to sink the gaff. A solid 60lbr! My largest to date... I reset and ended up catching 2 of the target species. 2 halibut just under 20lbs. I tried for the yt as the sun went down but it was not to be. I also caught some fat sand bass a calico

Its best to photograph the fish while holding it up, that way you have somthing to compare it to.

But maybe you were solo? Nice catch either way!
