    Caught a king in Neah Bay that was filled like that. Don't recall if it was hatchery or wild. I chose to give that one away.

    Several of the July Kings we caught in MA 7 ( Probably the only ones that were actually in 7 this summer) had tons of flatworms, tapeworms, or whatever they are called, in the abdominal cavities. First time I have seen them like that.....

    Whatever it is or isn't. Safe or not. I've seen posts of this same deal for years on lots of forums.

    Yuck. I know what I'd do - that meat would end up tasting a hell of a lot like fresh crab.

    Caught this one twelve hours ago in MA13. It was covered with bumps which you can see in the photo. The flesh was full of those little nuggets. In the future, I'll still take ones like it out of the water, kill them and mark my card just to keep whatever it is out of the water but I won't eat them.

    The condition didn't stop it from eating all those squid though...

    It may not be proper to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it does seem prudent to check a gift fish for worms...
