This has been lengthy and co$tly, All that is left is some paint work and and an hour and a half's worth or wiring. Started this thread is Dec 2014 and now we are at the end. This entire time I've had the boat parked in front of my house.... 5 months with out a bother from the city or neighbors (knock on wood). This last month I have endure a trip to Disneylend as well as cutting WAY back on work just to get this damn f*#king thing done, Sadly......They know me by name at West Marine now.

Here's whats done......

Mounted "Oh Shit" VHF and made a bungee hold m' down cord.....

Pulled all the hardware and fasteners out, Pulled the rocket launcher. Started prepping the surface.... Not much to do other than tape, mask and cover everything before I roll a new coat of contact cement. I'll coat the backside of the new vinyl, let it dry and then start from the centerline and work outwards. The old glue is the same stuff I am using, it bonds to itself very well as I did a test patch to see if I would have to try to remove it, The original stuff is sprayed pretty thin anyways.

Pulled the stereo out while I was at it and........ I noticed some dodgy looking tape job on the speaker wires

    View attachment 563542

Pulled the tape off to find a lovely solderless / crimpless connection............ WTFView attachment 563543

All the speaker wires were like this but oddly, the power wires were crimped. After being through every inch of this boat this was the only questionable thing I have found.

I ordered a new 6" aft leaning stainless steel ScanStrut radome mount with the gantry rack option........

Over the next few days I'll be cutting out some 316 stainless backing plates for the antenna mounts, cab rail mounts, radome mount and rocket launcher mounts.
WHERE DID YOU BUY THAT RADAR MOUNT, LOOKING FOR ONE LIKE THAT MYSELF. Also wanted to say i really really like your boat, looks like the perfect setup. THANKS

Finished her up with a clean white bilge, 2 brief phone calls to Furuno tech and she is DONE. Fishy as fuck so far!!!!! The Salmon bite picked up here so I put her in the water for a week, Bumpered up to my buddies commercial boat in the harbor. Fished 4 of 8 days... Bite goes off and on but there is always a few in the box, season best so far is a 26. Got the smoker going right now and Salmon for dinner almost nightly. Pulling the boat out today and gonna let her dry out for a few on the trailer and then it's back in for another run. She's running great, All the new gear is tits and works like charm... Furuno CHIRP is amazing... You see individual baitfish in the ball and Salmon show up as if they had an air bladder!!!

I'm currently redoing a 1997 23'..... I got a lot of great ideas off of your posts.... congrats on an awesome job. I hope mine comes close......
Can you send pics of cabin area? mine was a port police boat and was enclosed, but I want a place my kids can lay down, if needed.
    Once again, awesome work, congrats!!
