Deep high tide+ night time in Huntington harbor is always fun. All of the bait rushes into the harbor with big predators following.

Super cool trip, once in a lifetime! Honestly, I would rather have a trip and catch 17 big LS than 17 Tuna. Awesome looking fish.

I like the replies as much as the post on this one. Funny how when the person posting can kick your ass, all the haters stay away (no complaining about anything). Wonder if Mr. Ortiz can write up all the reports going forward so the posts aren't picked apart. :D

Interesting report! Funny to see well known people posting fish reports on a site like BD.

My dad is a big fan and decided to name our old dog "Tito" after watching one of your fights.

Nice big Leopard Sharks there! I surffish from the beach mostly during the day and catch/release the babies about 2 feet long or less. Would love to get some like that someday. Way to go on a great trip!

Nice post...been thinking of a way to get my kids hooked too. This might be it!
Usually we bang the wall on night runs but the kids get frustrated with stuck hooks etc.
