So Im stumbling around the house today putting in a garage door opener after shift. She comes out, getting ready to mow the lawn, and we decide to have a couple tuna loins for dinner (wasabi teriyaki marinade, seared).

Wife: "Babe, we are going through that tuna"

E: "Yup, good stuff. I figured you'd like having it around"

Wife: "We don't have enough. Since we cancelled that party in Sept, you think you could go get some more?"

E: " I'd have to find an open seat. Have I told you lately that I love you?"

    Marry right boys, marry right...

Very cool, sounds like something my wife might say. I was cleaning out the attic and was talking to my wife about selling my guitars, well... maybe just a couple of them, because I don't play all of them including my Martin custom. She put her foot down immediately and said there is no way she is letting me sell those guitars, especially the Martin, because she likes to hear me play each and every one. She said the same thing when I was considering getting rid of one of my bimmers. Now she is on me about buying her a bow so she can go archery hunting. I guess the family that plays together stays together.

In the words of the great Marshal Mathers...
"Give me a fat slut that cooks and does dishes".

I've only been married a couple years, but having a wife that's down with the sickness has made my life a lot easier...

I nearly sunk a 19' almar sounder. She told me to go get a bigger boat, doesn't matter what it cost's. I'm fortunate she lets me buy more toys than any one man oughta have a right to.

Same with my wife, she'd rather be watchin' rod tips than anything else. She even helps with the cleaning and packing. I mumbled something about traddin' in some of my guns for fishing gear, and she said, "but what if you want to kill something" back into the vault they went. Those that aren't married, choose wisely, cause there ain't nothin worse than being skunked on the water and coming home to get your ass chewed for being late.:Beat_Them

My only problem is my wife consistently out fishes me. To date she has the biggest Chinook, the biggest halibut and the biggest lingcod caught off our boat and the biggest trout (21” rainbow) caught off our dock. A few weeks ago we were buying some things to refill the tackle boxes and the bill, as usual, comes up to well over 100 bucks and I say “Hmmm, that was a little spendy” she says “Oh well, you can never have too much tackle” Treat the good ones right boys.
