Here's what ya'll give a shit about, fished 95 miles from the point, Had my GPS and the numbers were 31 11 7 117 29 2. Sea's were very nice 2-3' wind swell, saw quite a few PB's out there.
Going back to the barn was smooth w/ a slt n/w push.
There was a giood amount of bait at these numbers, and we saw breaking fish but they just didn't want to bite.
Good quality.
Sorry No water temp, no paddys noted, and you'll know when you arrive because the whole fleet in boxed up there.
Ok had to get my Tuna fis taken care of. So left Monday night to fish the Cherokee Geisha out of H&M . Left with 41 fun loving people at 1000, Great bait at the receiver, unfortunatly it was great Dines! Hardly a Chovie in the mix. Oh well, Heard from Dan the capt for this trip, then Paul the head man on deck gave a Good heads up on what to expect the next day. Since we had about half rent a rodders and 3 dads with thier kids, he didn't go into much detail, kept it short and to the point. My kind of talk, mainly because they are all gonna forget in the morning anyway.
Well I woke up at 0630 and we're traveling... ???? hmmm.
First hook up was at 0800 for a single and a couple bait fish. This was the scene all day (ok for the small part of the day we fished).
I think we put 32 fish on the boat, with the JP going to a 30# Albi. Another fish was a TOAD easy 35+#, but he wasn't in the JP.
I had 4 fish hooked up and managed 1 20# to the boat. I made the mistake of fishing 17# test in the beginning and had No chance from this grade fish and 40 other lines to get thru.
I must say my fix is cured... We drove 9 hours to fish 90-95 miles from the point, that made for maybe 5 hours of fishing time and 18 hours of boat ride
