I rolled my first joint in 1974 when my Vietnam vet neighbor showed me how using Zig-Zag cut corners. My Latino friends mostly used the bigger yellow ZZ's. ZZ's were fine and dandy for the 10$ lids that were available but when the higher quality herb like Sinsemilla started showing up the ZZ's just smothered the taste with their heavy paper so I started using the thinner rice paper. I can't remember the name but there was a brand of papers that had a thin built in wire that could be used like a roach clip as your joint burned to the end. I've probably rolled 6-7000 joints in my lifetime.
