bottom fishing for rock fish down to 350' is a priority for this boat and tuna is secondary. The question is 175 H-W or 175L ?

What MDF if your going Simrad again the 175 HW would be fine to 350. I fish deeper and can see stuff with my 285HW. I just zoom in my screen

Tom if you only want to focus in depths of 350’ and above I would suggest the 175 HW as well. This will completely cover you for rock fish and offshore fishing with outstanding performance. If you are going to consider deep dropping in the future for Elvis I would go with the L and still have rock fish covered, but lose a little visibility beneath you when fishing offshore due to narrowing the cone angle with the L
