Which Tackle Stores Sell Used Gear ?

I plan on visiting a couple stores soon. Which shops sell consignment/used gear ? I know Eric's in Ventura does. Anyone else? Bob Sands ? Johnny's ?

SD tackle traders would be my first choice if I am looking to get cash, I have re-sold a number of things at Bob Sands, however, I always leave the proceeds in the store applied to another purchase.

Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle sells consignment reels and rods if in decent shape.

The are in the north part of San Diego County.
On Pacific Coast Hwy, The very south end of Oceanside just before you enter Carlsbad

if you buy stuff from store, you get 100% credit of what they sell your gear for.
Think you get 80% cash back from your asking price if no buy stuff.

We almost always have a large selection of used rods and reels. We try to price them right. We have both our own rods and consignment rods as we purchase a ton of used gear for resale. Again we try to keep pricing down to a very, very fair price. On occasion, we have some consignment items that the seller may over price but that does not last too long as we request they reduce their pricing to get the items sold. We literally go through thousands of used items annually, both fresh and saltwater gear

PSA.. for the SD area…rant begin-

What ever you do Mike if you ever make it to SD again don’t shop at anglers choice.. they sell used gear.. but not only did they steal one of my reels and then strip one of my second reels for parts they LOOSE YOYR REELS……. Don’t ever support or shop at anglers choice. I had to get my reel back from a seller on offerup inorder to collect my compensation (luckily it all washed out)…… also their reel service takes 8 months. At the beginning of this entire ordeal I also got a reel serviced the guy said for an extra $40 “cash” he would put 2nd in line for next day pick up.. I opted for 1-2 weeks… that was 8 months ago I just got off the phone after another heated convo… it will be ready tomorrow……

-Rant over.. just in case you made it down to SD…. Don’t shop angers choice consignments… squidco always has fun stuff and mainly ken’s is great! Btw miss those hours of long garage talks about blanks and handing you all my $$$
