You can also try emailing Sav-on fishing tackle in Norwalk and see if they have that spring. I lost one of those # 93 springs once while trying to swap out handles on my tld 20...had to wait months because it was out of stock...guess there was back up pent up demand because they are already out of stock again...what a drag!

As of 5/25/2015, some current eBay options for the Daiwa 400H:

Pair one up with one of Bryan Young's 400H kits:

You'll get the 20lbs drag for the 1/3 rule with 60lb test with a few pounds of drag left over if you need to bump it up.

The next step up would be the 6/0-sized Daiwa 600H.

    With Bryan Young's 600H kit,

...I've gotten as high as 42lbs from top of spool, but 30lbs is more reasonable for sustained reliable drag.

My TLD30 with a Willfish frame and a T-Bar Lite handle is loaded with 60# over 80# spectra and will be dragging a Magnum X-Rap or a Halco 130 next month on my 5 day.

Yep, springs are not very difficult to improvise with. Anything that fits generally will replicate the function.
