Hey Kos what braid and # did you use? And why the 300 over the 400? They are the same specs I believe just line capacity difference. I was looking at picking one up during FH sales.

Hey Steven, I haven't decided what lb braid yet but im leaning towards 30lb. I already have a couple of 200 and 400 size reels so I thought I would give a 300 size a try. Plus the rods being swimbait finatics 711L's are pretty light rods so I figured a 300 size would line up better than a 400. Im going to try the 300's on the swimbait finatic's and also on my us80 baybass. The 200 size reels I have might end up on the 711L's.
What application were you thinking of getting the 400 for and what rod(s) were you thinking of putting it on? I use a penn fathom 400 on a us80 mega for throwing bigger jigs.

Any updates on the combos? Have had a chance to fish them yet? I picked a 400tw love the new size btw. I was thinking of a gp85 or 90 xf but that swimbait rod might work as well.

I have the 300tw's but haven't got the swimbait's yet. Sounds like UC was a little behind on getting those blanks out. Looking forward to catching the 3 B's with them! As soon as I use them I'll report back.
