Im in the market for a new cell phone my old galaxy note 3 is acting up & will probably die at at a very inconvenient time. So im being proactive & gonna pull the trigger on a new note 9.

signal get gets poor to none as soon as I leave the bay channel seems other people can use their phone even when pretty far offshore. Maybe it’s the age of my phone not sure

im kind of tired of verizon for many reasons, but its all im used to. Is it worth changing providers ie for cost, coverage, service etc. what are you guys paying for unlimited plan.?

I went from Verizon, after more than 20 years, to T-Mobile and could not be happier. Unlimited everything, with International calling included.

T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling has worked flawlessly, which is more than I can say for Verizon, which never seemed to work.

And if you travel internationally, you will save a fortune over Verizon.

Depends on your location, T-Mobile is actually better in my area of Pasadena. Verizon and AT&T were practically unusable.

I hesitated to switch for from Verizon for years. After making the move I have zero regrets.

Other best move was buying an unlocked phone outright on Amazon.

Can you elaborate? I'm tired of AT&T and contemplating going with Verizon.

phone will show bars but still not have signal.

seems like my bill creeps a little higher every other bill cycle not by much but enough to annoy me.

I dont have unlimited plan just a 4gig for $72mo im sure there are better deals out there. but if I get too close to maxing out they send a text warning your almost out of data or gigs you have 5% remaining . a minute after that text I get another text that says sorry you have exceeded your alotted bandwith you owe us a $15 overage fee.

the last time I went into the verizon store in the mall, I tried to get some tech help
im just not savy with these modern space phones. they gave me the brush off were not a tech repair shop we just sell phones?

When I’m in the US I use both T-Mobile and AT&T and I don’t see much difference between the two.

Hey John, I have att and an iPhone. My older phone was doing the same thing and finally took a dump the other day. Leading up before it finally died, I had really bad service, would not receive calls at all and then get voicemails several days later. I was cursing ATT daily. Well I finally got a new phone and everything is working good again. Good phones cost as much as a new cow setup though, so be ready for that!

Verizon was terrible at my house but may have improved since I switched to t-mobile. T-mo has been great and is great in Mx. I get unlimited 2g data, texts and .25/minute for calls. I get better performance at work than Verizon or att.

I was a Verizon customer since the mid 90's when they bought out AirTouch cellular - after my 4 person family plan with 6 gigs of data crept up to $260/mo about 18 months ago we switched to T-Mobile for $160/mo - unlimited everything. We have zero issues with T-Mobile.

I spend a lot of time in Mexico and my phone switches to Telcel seamlessly and I get a couple weeks of 4g which throttles down to 2g - no big deal. If I need good wifi at the casa I hotspot my brothers Mexican Telcel service phone.

I get pretty good service offshore but my bud does a bit better with AT&T.

T-Mo & AT&T are both GSM and are (IMO) better for international travel.

I had Verizon for years. Switched to T-Mobile and works flawless when I travel to Mexico and everywhere i have been in the US. I also have a work cell with AT&T seems to work good but not as good as T-Mobile. Could also be the phone.
