I don't know about 69, but at 64 getting out of the chair is a lot of effort. I consider it a great day when I can stand up pain free, and walk without a limp after 6 feet.
Oh yeah, but be quiet about it! I was whining the other day and my wife said, "Hmm. Instead of trying to fix you up, maybe I should just trade you in on a couple of 38 year-olds." So I shut up and took out the trash.

Just curious. If we can board the day before, when would they let us know???

I can neither confirm, nor deny, but there is a chance I have heard the same thing at home. Perhaps our wives are sisters.

You youngsters ought to fish more. I’m 74 in May. After the 15 day in January on the Rooster, (boy did I learn a lot) I have an 8 day in July on the Independence and another 8 day in November on the Angler! Let’s do this!

I turned 75 last May and still fish .... thanks to modern medicine
    My secret ?
I share my fish with my physician -- he gets Tuna, YT and Wahoo ONLY as long as he keeps me fishin'
And, like many fellow fishers here, my MD referred me to Phys Thpy in the fall for "life-well-lived" old injuries that re-arose.
    PS
    Don't go quietly!!!
    Tight Lines !!

Hi everyone ....I am alive and well.. fish a couple 8 day and a 15 day in January every year on the Intrepid and a fly in to Cedros most years....I feel great and just don't post as much anymore.....I don't enjoy the brutal day and night push of bluefin fishing that many enjoy these days and prefer the giant yellowfin and fishing the ridge and rocks ......so I don't really have much to contribute to the bluefin threads.

I've posted in a couple of other threads more or less recently. I'm only 60, but I've been having some health issues, and it has been a while since I fished. When and if I can get that sorted out, I hope and expect to return to Long Range. I just don't know when that will be.

Hey Fishy! You think I might be able to sneak aboard the Ray J trip? Maybe 2024?
