So the haters never had anyone give them tips or teach them anything? Never asked questions for help? They did it all without help?
    Damn... they are good.

Good site. I like it. Like Dave says, if you already know everything there is to know about fishing, then his site is not for you.

The best $5 you will spend.

How many people bought Mark Wisch's, or Hayward's books. This is no different. Lots of info, just in a different format, and new chapters being added regularly.

Dave, just curious here. How do you vet the boats that you get on, or the guys that hire you? I've grown up around this scene and get lots of offers to take guys out on their boats to show them the ropes for free. The issue is... I'm VERY selective who I'm gonna get on a boat and go offshore with. That rules out 90%+ of most people. As you well know, shit can go south in a hurry on the water. There is no way I'm getting on some unknown dude's unknown boat! I don't know if that guy or his boat is safe, or if he maintains his boat to my standards, is level headed, isn't a drunk or a drug addict, or an axe murderer, etc. There isn't enough money in the world to get me to just hop on rando boats. You aren't worried about this? Or do yo have a screening process?

Anyone who claims to know everything about fishing doesn't know everything about fishing. There is always something else to learn.

I really don't get the Dave bashing, I signed up for your site Dave right after your started. I am nearly 60 years old and have been fishing the Southern California coast my whole life. I try to learn something new every day, the day you quit learning is the day you quit living. I enjoy your site and your visits to Oceanside Anglers Club meetings. Keep up the good work. OH... One more thing Congratulations on the best catch of your life, your new wife.

I think Michael Bingham used run yachts and his brother used to run the International Star. Not sure how funny he is.
