what pound test ? 1 1/2 day trip

    I've heard 15 20 25lb test. I wonder are they chewing the 30lb when its bitting 1st thing in the morning? Going on the Endevor tonight. Thanks Richardblufin.

    Start with 20lb flouro, ringed 1 or 1/0 hook. They are small 20 lbers. If they are more line shy drop to 15lb, if they don't care use larger.

    If you're only bringing one set up, use a stronger braid and bring spools of 20#, 25#, 30# fluoro, maybe even 15# for leaders and change it out as needed.

    I used 20# mono w/ 20# fluoro & mustad 2 or 1/0 hooks yesterday. Caught 2 on 1/0 in the morning & 2 on #2 in the afternoon.

    I usually bring four setups. 15, 20, 30, and 40. I also bring fluoro for the 20 and 30lb setups.
