What is your favorite scent

and the scent i use to catch that is Francesco Smalto

I took tommy's advice a while back and combine the hot sauce with his unibutter so it sticks to the bait better.

But I still use different procure products, just not in the surf or the bays.

I appreciate that you guys all want to give unibutter the buisness because gomes is a cool guy, but it is a proven fact that light oil based scents like that cannot even be sensed by fish that arent with a few inches of the bait. and also, it comes off as soon as the bait hits the water. if youwant to give the gomes money thats great but youre not doing yourself any favors using uni. especially in the surf. get something that sticks. anything

I have used many scents in the past, find that Unibutter works best and stays on the baits longer. I use Gulp 4" swimbaits in pumpkinseed color spread with Unibutter or Hotsauce. Have had great success in San Diego Bay. Now get on the water...

dont waist your money use the same bait that available where you fish. on the beach use sand crab. on the breakwall use shrimp. open ocean use live bait. never skunk.

Dude thats like saying "hooks are cool but its a proven fact if the fish isnt a few inches away, the hooks are no good." Tons of people in the industry have used it for a long time. Maybe it doesnt work for you but no reason to post something like this when this comment is incorrect on so many levels. Its been proven to work and thats why they are still around.
