Seems like its main market would be the RV crowd that don't want to tow a boat as well during their travels. Viewing the site there is no mention of the weight of the unit so it is hard to tell if a car topper type transport would be easy.
At $1199 msrp, not including motor, seat, battery, the butcher, the baker or the candlestick maker, sold as-is, no warranty. It looks like it's only a little less trouble than owning a small boat, doesn't deflate like float tube/inflatable boat, still have to store it somewhere. With only one battery will there be enough thrust to make headway when the wind is blowing? Not at Lake Silverwood or Big Bear. The waves in the video were smaller than the ones you get when a drunken yahoo runs by you with his boat show Bayliner. It might be okay for renting out to the public at small lakes etc.... but at that price I'd rather have a high end belly boat or equivalent.
