    Always, even though it's a small boat safety is always number one. I have handheld radios, a good handheld satellite GPS, lifejackets, and set return times with friends with boats so if I wasn't to return, they'd know and try and get a hold of me.

    Yup. After landing a 200lb plus THRESHER in my 13 ft gregor I realized I was pushing my luck.

    A life with risks is a life worth living. Just gotta be smart about the logistics. Safety is always #1, even on a 10ft boat
