Launched out of Westport for the first time in many years and ran SW to 36/55 where we stopped on tuna birds and scattered kelp. First fish five minutes into the troll, followed by singles and doubles. We managed to convert a few times on very nice bait from the Westport dock with a couple of 6-fish stops, and had several bonus bait fish after hitting troll fish. We were alone all day--closest boat passed a few miles off. We called it at about 2:30, out of ice, out of room, with 40 on board for four souls. Really, really nice day out there, and a smooth 30mph ride back to the dock.
