Fishing was slowly and spotty. But we managed 3 chinooks and 1 coho in 2 mornings worth of fishing.

Saturday picked up 1 king at 26” around 0800, 150 feet of water 110 feet on the wire. Then got a bigger one around 1030, 250 feet of water 190 on the wire. Heard some were catching most were fishing. Back at the dock around 1300.

Sunday left the marina at 0500. Fished the red cans past the jetty. Then went SW. Got a king at 240 feet of water 180 on the wire. Then picked up a coho. Went west to 280. Then back in at 240-250. Too slow for me. Headed back in around noon. Saw some birds on the bar. No fish though.

Only pic I took from Saturday.

Thought I’d report for the curious.

I know some got into them. But sounds like it was spotty or patchy for most.

Nice report. Going to try and wet a line out there in the next week or so. Hope for some kings to show up in the mean time.

Similar story for us on Sunday. Started straight out in 170 FOW, nothing. Moved SW 6 miles to 200-220 FOW. Picked up a decent king and a clipped coho at 100 on the wire. Then went cold. Moved out to 300 FOW didn’t get anything. Made a few passes around the GH buoy on the way back in, lots of bait around but no takers. Still early. Already hearing some better reports this week.

Agree. It’s still early. And have heard it’s picking up already.

    Thanks for the reply.

We got all our fish this weekend but it was a grind. Fished SW 220-250’. Divers and 70’ on wire were most productive.

So we fished 280 fow saturday..natha for our efforts, fished top to bottom.
Fished just south sunday of the weather bouy, stopped on way out it looked fishy, picked up 2 kings and a coho.
Monday fished just south of the casino on the beach, tons of bait, got a king and a coho, moved due west to 110 fow and picked up another king. Headed in at 12:30 water was sure nice..
