    Thanks Billy,
You guys have been extraordinarily easy to work with. And it seems everybody loves the components.

I'd love to see an 8' rod with acid wrap. Then put a triangular grip with shrink wrap over the top

Tuna cord is an old answer to handles.
I have a thought here....... tuna cord itself is a "heavy" component. When you add "finish" to it.. it becomes even heavier.......now we look at the lower grip. ....a lot of unneeded weight has been added. A suggestion .....I made a rod for my kid. He was worried about weight.....we had a foregrip......reelseat.....then we did a "hand wide" aft grip below the reel seat.
At the butt and of the rod we installed a butt cap and 5" butt grip...... it cut lot of unneeded weight and gave usable grips where they were needed........ good luck with your building......

Very cool! I have been building rods since a kid, so fun to see someone taking a crack at making a business out of it.

I was on that Whaler and the price tag of that sucker put me in shock to look at your rods closely.

    Kill it guys!

    Hahahaha, thanks Vance.

We're going to try and drop off a few bait sticks at the WTC booth tomorrow morning, hopefully the finish isn't still tacky.

Beer night at the boat show tomorrow night I'll be around there from 5 till closing prolly.
