Went catching today..

    Limits of YFT for two anglers.

    1 nice bait fish on the 425 in the am. None on the troll.

    Around 1300 started trolling N.
    Soon thereafter triples and doubles back to back to back. Fun fun.
    Most came in the trough about 10 miles West of islands.

    Ponies are holding.

    More later, too many fish to clean and vacuum pack.

    Edit: 6" natural cedar plugs on the outside waaaaayyy back were the ticket.

    Tried hailing you around 10ish after you came on 72, you were south already.

    We limited for four with the groms onboard- slipped by 11a. We stayed right in that area, 22/19 trolled @195ish mag and had a blast! Only firecracker YT on bait for us- all troll fish-

    Thinking a wed run...

    great catch!me and my buddy are hopefully going to make it out tuesday and he doesn't have a passport. I've heard people say Id's are ok but also that a passport is a must. any help on this would be great. I do not want to be towed to Ensenada

    Nice Job @ EZ , herd you today on the radio , we were just above you - we had 10 yft & 6 yellows . Awesome close in fishing !
