Good job on the slay fest
Hopefully they just came out of the ice.
Took us an hour to clean our load. Felt like a deck hand on my own boat. Lol

Skipjack is great smoked I like to brine it in Coca-Cola for about two hours and then smoke for about a hour and a half comes out awesome!!
Crap! I just remembered I'm brining Dorado I forgot that step not to late......thanks.

Here's is the undisputed and best brine bar none*

2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup soy sauce or teriyaki
1 cup pineapple or apple juice
3 bay leaves
Ad some Coke during the last 3 hours only***
Soak overnight

I have the Little Chief Smoker I smoke it for 6 hours** any kind of hard wood will work but soak the chips overnight

If you want to get fancy after it is smoked baste it very lightly with Maple pancake syrup with red food coloring like at the fish market

* Do not reuse the brine
** The fish not weed
*** The soft drink not blow

Lots o guys didn't understand the code. Right in the header too. Thanks for the report. Ratio of skippies to YFT?
We kept 30 yellowfin and 14 skipjack,we released approximately 10 yellowfin and 25 skipjack had a scoop and a half bait, used every bait we had. Fish the same spot for 3 hours. Gave out numbers and went home. Code 10 over 24 was trying to keep it simple For people that we’re going out the next day, I was too tired to give a full report.
