I got the boat all dialed in and ready to go, I've got it up in OC so a bit far from Mex. but I look at the SST's and see a nice ass break shaped like a crescent moon from the E Fly all the way down to the Airplane. I'd a been there yesterday if I had my boat in Miss bay still. Sure fuel is pricey but not one of you even giving it a shot??? All's I see here is reports from years past..(and rockfish) WTF, years past I got my 1st albies in mid april (yeah, they were small) because I ran 50-70 miles outta Miss Bay when the conditions looked right, I didn't wait for a sportie to go get them.

Weather is looking really good for Thursday and Friday. Good chance on attempting to get out towards the Rock Pile to Hidden Bank area on Thursday. The temps are getting better everyday and after the next couple of days look for improvement of the temps. Nice clean blue water forming in this area if it keeps to pattern.

Water is still on the chilly side.... I'm not even seeing 60 in that area from recent morning SSTs... sure, fish could be there. Go get 'em! Maybe some king sized bonito.

The better water looks like some 62-63 degree stuff west of Guadalupe

Rechecked temps at Hidden and looks like 62 to 63 for today. Rockpile is really chilly but the Upper Hidden is very interesting.
