Here I sit, broken hearted. All my regular fishing partners had candy ass, chickenshit excuses why they can’t fish today or tomorrow . I mean, who puts “family” ahead of fishing? Lame.

Anyways, I have three downhill ski races to watch—two Hahnenkamms and one women's from Cortina while eating beer batter wahoo tacos.

Cortina sucked as they lowered the start house WAY down. Kitzbühel, being Kitzbühel was awesome though.

Beer batter wahoo tacos didn’t disappoint either. Now off to can another batch of YFT.

YUMMY...Cortina always had ICEY problems up higher....likely cause?

Downhillers like ice. More likely wind or visibility. Anyways, a one minute downhill wasn’t even watchable. Not sure if I’m going to watch the Genocide Games (Olympics).

YES a7ewizard....unlike the previous 8 shoulder
surgeries, this time the CMC joint that connects
rt thumb to wrist was shot. Fusion surgery, 2
3 inch pins thru the thumb in soft cast 14 weeks and months of the 2 bones growing back together. I wear 1 of 3 neoprene spica braces on thumb/entire rt. hand riding my mountain bike daily. Trying to flyline bait and spool with thumb not there yet. Trust me.
Hope to fish again by summer. Started in 1960
