If misuse was only taller :D

Solid effort dudes. Located the fish in crappy weather and got bit by Jumbos twice. And a Spike that's cool

I'm 19/19 for 140lb-Super Cow so maybe you should just fly me up :pThat includes a 209, 220, 283, 298.2 weighed at Dock, and 1 PV Super Cow no weight, ugh, are my credentials :ele:

    Keep at it boyz!

We are well aware of the treble rig, but I don't think I can switch. I know a lot of great fishermen running that set up but for my money, I'll take one really good hook set over three marginal hooks or worse, foul hooking a fish. Friend of a friend has hooked a couple in the butthole this month. No thanks.

Bottom line if go with what you are confident in. Get yourself set up to succeed with the right rigging and gear. Then just grind it out and you will be rewarded. We are putting in 12+ hour days for just one bite.

    best of luck everyone.

Well true YFT are stronger on the strength scale. How about 9/9 one drift, BFT age 15 Spirit of Adventure 4 day 1992 all bait fish. I lost my first 2 BFT before going 9/9. My first two hooked and lost was with my 40lb high speed rig which was the heaviest outfit I owned. The first one I hooked was the only fish hooked for 45 minutes before the boat went bendo. Broke off at gaff 100lb plus. Crew loaned me a 50lb rig and then they came aboard. But it was smaller 70-123lb for me :D with a single speed 4/0 senator. Not the XL BFT fatties availible now

Start over from zero :) and mostly bait fish would be more impressive by fishing from the spool and not the kite fish lottery win with heavy string on a private with no obstacles

So start over from zero :D
