So using the information I learned in this section, I finally managed to get out to Morro Bay and get some perch fishing in. Didn’t catch any to brag about by any means but was able to put a few on the hook using the Gulp sand worms. Way small but fun nonetheless. Started to catch on in regards to what to look for, tides and such. Steep learning curve for me but I’m definitely hooked and am looking forward to learning as much of it as I can and hopefully posting pictures of progression. Thank you all for the tips and information 🙏🏽🙏🏽

What size line n hooks are ya running?Used to bring trout gear running 6# with #8 mosquitos.

@Tom123 I take size 4 to size 8 in mosquito and am gonna experiment with some Aberdeen and TruTurn hooks as well for the gut hook sets. These were caught on #6 owner mosquito. It would be cool if they made baitholder mosquito circle hooks in a smaller size.
