Water levels were way down at this lake, we hadn't floated the Evie Kay there, had fished it years ago with the canoe. Never seen the water down so low, looked like Lake Shasta! Still, had a great day with 2 (!!) steelhead, one 28 1/2 ", the other just under 22". Melanie took a nice cutthroat as well. Trolling with spoons, my fish came on a Lami orange 7 1/2 ft. ultra-lite kokanee rod, what a fight! Larger fish came out of the water 3 or 4 times, once completely out of the water, tail dancing. Some nice fish there! Any trouble at the launch with water levels that low?

No, really nice long ramp, obviously it was made for such low levels, no problem whatsoever. Stop by the camp host's trailer and pay him the launch fee, he's a nice guy. Bob

Ok. I live about 30 mins from the lake. Been going up there since I was a little kid. Sure is nice now that its paved road up there. Used to be a long dusty bumpy drive. Ramp is designed for low water. But sometimes it gets kinda sketch
