I'm looking for a little boat around 7ft just to fish the harbor. only have $200.
Call Gerry. Aka Gerryjig on the board. 949-457-9498. Tell him Paul, the guy he works with sent you.
ok thanks I give him a call
I'll take $200 for this 9 foot boat. No papers. Motor not included.
I got this from the marina, it was abandoned.
I got about $300 into it fixing it up.
Rows real nice. To heavy to be a dinghy for my boat.
I can carry it in the back of my mini van and launch by hand.

This guy put this boat on BD too - in classifieds.

thanks but it is too big i need something to fit in my side yard with out a trailer. I'm hoping to find one to just put in the back of my truck
i'd look into getting a 2man buster boat with a small trolling motor. had one when i lived in so cal . very stable boats, easy to fit in a p/u or van , unsinkable and very safe. shop the papers or ads in tackle shops and you should be able to pick one up cheap. no offense but i'v fished out of a boat like the one in the pic above and i flipped it twice setting the hook on bass. good luck and i hope this helps
ok thanks for the help I'll look for some. When you say cheap how cheap?
has some one ever used one of these?
Instaboat - Camping World
and can you get them cheap?
i picked mine up for 200 bucks and a 30# thrust trolling motor and d/c battery for about 200 more. had a little humminbird sonar on it too. used to launch it in newport harbor all the time , great for fishing around docks and such.
oh ok cool thanks for the help
I've got enough scrap plywood that your welcome to and can point you toward some simple free plans for a little 7or 8 ft punt or pram that could fit in the truck back
ok whats your number so i can give you a call I need to talk to my friend first though to see if he would want to make one or buy one
I have a coupl float tubes for cheap(real cheap) lemme know dude
Pm me with an email adress and I can send you the sites about plans so you can figure out if you want to do it or not. Since I'm in San Diego and you're in OC it might be cheaper to just buy some plywood with the price of gas
Call the San Diego mooring company - the guys that control all of the moorings here in SD. If you ask 411 for the number, the young lady in the office there is really really nice.
They recently took out all the derelict dinghy's off the dinghy docks. It was a LOT of boats! If they didn't cut them all up there should be a bunch of boats available. And some of them were in ok shape they just needed some TLC.
ok thanks I might just make one myself but if i don't then ill give them a call
thanks but I already have a float tube I just want a boat for the harbor
