Hit the wall after hitting nachos for some 5-7” sardines. Lasted all day but not the healitiest looking. Fished the wall from 7-930 for pretty much a wide open calico bite to 5#. Saw another boater land a thresher...too far to tell how big but congrats! The calicos were thick and boiling on baits as soon as it hit the water which was exciting. Mixed in were some short cudas and sand bass... at around 930 we headed for the shoe and fished the red buoy for a cuda here and there. They weren’t the biggest but enough to keep us busy. Stayed away from the fleet which was around green buoy but according to my cousin who rode the Monte Carlo they didn’t do so well. As for us we ended with 17 legal, about 3-4 dozen bass...was out the water by 11 and home by 12....had to work for them at the shoe so don’t think it’s a wide open bite. Maybe an afternoon bite??? Side note the bait balls were thick from the wall all the way around the shoe. Don’t mind the blur face he’s camera shy...

Salas 7x chrome and tady 9 worked for us today....

The first Calico is FAT! Wide open on that grade would be a very good day!

Let's be a little more creative on the ID protection, though. :D
