    So Howzit everyone!

We left the harbor at 6:30 a.m. and headed for Sierra but never got there. set one lure (pictured) out getting ready to put the center out and the guys start yelling fish. I look back to see a splash and it missed it. But it came back with vengance. We saw the rigger come down and line starts pulling not fast but definate hook up! we get line comming back and then she explodes giving us a good look her. Estimated at 500+. She bolt for the horizan giving us three full body lenths jumps clean out of the water. the first attempt at the boat she pulls the leader right out of my hand pulls out 50 yards and stays there and wouldn't budge. we tried everything and eventually she starts pulling line out and going staight down. At half a spool we stop her descent. An hour of planning her up we finally sink a couple of flying gaffs. She goes 709 LBS. and the Guys let out a cheer. beers all around and one tired ass.

Thank all for the Kind words.
This fish definately kicked my butt, I have videos with my go pro but ran out of memory and batteries before we were able to boat her.
For all of you who has tasted my smoked marlin thanks for buying it. I have been smoking for the past three weeks and was not willing to smoke this big one. but here are some photo's of our smoker filled to capacity.
